Our Centre

Welcome to our perfectly sized, newly developed centre on Shirley Road. We are so proud of our centre. Let us introduce you to our rooms.

Kākano Aroha. Our beautifully nurturing small babies nest. Intimate, snug, secure, with its own little outdoor space babies can roll and relax safely in, whilst still seeing bigger tamariki in their own spaces. The most we will ever have in this space is seven babies.

Mātātupu. Our medium sized toddler group, with no more than 19 toddlers and their own outdoor space to freely learn to walk, run and move with growing confidence. Space to be safe within the wider outdoor area, where they can still see and watch what our tamariki nui are doing in their own Preschool outdoor space.

Puāwai. Our proud preschool group is ready for no more than 30 tamariki growing and learning as they ready for school.

All of our spaces are well designed with all areas of learning ready to be explored and for great learning to take place, from the big digs in their sandpits, climbing on the structures, excursions beyond the setting, singing and dancing, creating and designing, to quiet thoughtful reflection and spaces to rest.

We are here for our tamariki and our team is ready to grow and love this centre into the most wonderful community nursery and early learning centre in Christchurch.
