Millie’s House is owned and operated by a group of early childhood professionals working together to create a care and learning environment for children that is sustainable as a business and does not compromise on quality care and environments for children that we believe in and promote both as parents and professionals.

I have been involved in early childhood education for 23 years and I started my journey through Playcentre. This experience taught me the importance of supporting children to learn in a way that worked for them and through this, I moved onto studying and attaining my Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). I have grown and learnt so much over the years as early childhood education has evolved. Moving to Millies House has re-enforced my belief that learning and relationships go hand in hand and the better we do that, the more opportunities for learning there are for the young children in our care.
I love working with the teams in the different centres throughout the Wellington Region. They are an amazing collection of teachers who have the drive and the passion to really impact the lives of the children they teach and the whanau they support.
It is wonderful working with the management of Millies House, sharing the commitment to the whanau and the children but also to the teachers and the early education sector.
